The role of Agentic AI in organizational transformation and AI applications in aviation were discussed at the OzU AI Platform.
As part of the OzU AI Platform, which brings together academia, the public sector, and the business world to strengthen knowledge sharing in artificial intelligence, we hosted an event featuring Prof. Haluk Demirkan, Associate Dean for Analytics Innovations at the University of Washington Tacoma and Visiting Faculty Member at Özyeğin University, focusing on the role of artificial intelligence in organizational transformation and its applications in the aviation industry.
The event opened with remarks by Prof. İrşadi Aksun, Vice President for Research, Innovation and Impact, who also moderated the first session. In his session titled “Enterprise Transformation in the Age of Agentic AI: Governance, Change Management, and Creating Measurable Business Value,” Prof. Dr. Haluk Demirkan shared his research and insights with participants.
In the second session, Prof. Demirkan explored the role of artificial intelligence in aviation, focusing on demand sensing, dynamic optimization, and autonomous decision-making processes through current applications and examples.
We will continue to strengthen interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration in artificial intelligence, contributing to the transformation of academic knowledge into innovative solutions and societal impact.
