The event, which brought together leading business leaders, academics, and technology experts from Türkiye, discussed themes such as the rise of Agentic AI, ways to achieve real returns on AI investments, data integration, cultural transformation, and leadership.
The event was attended by leading figures in their fields, including Hüsnü M. Özyeğin, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Özyeğin University; Barış Tan, Rector of Özyeğin University; Batur Can, General Manager of Fiba Retail Group; Berrin Özselçuk, General Manager of Amazon Web Services Turkey; Evren Dereci, General Manager of KoçDigital; Gürkan Gök, General Manager of Invent Analytics; Hanzade Doğan, Chairman of the Board of Doğan Holding; Nevra Onursal Karaağaç, General Manager of Hitit; Oğuzhan Aygören, Director of the UC Berkeley Institute for Business Innovation; and Todd James, General Manager of Aurora Insights.
Özyeğin University brought together academia, the business world, and students for "OzU AI Week," organized on our campus from October 13–17, 2025. For five days, we discussed the future of artificial intelligence from various perspectives with technology leaders, public representatives, academics, and alumni from Türkiye and around the world. We hosted a total of 2.500 audience members for panels focused on research, application, and entrepreneurship. OzU AI Week, inspired by the interdisciplinary sharing of knowledge and experience, aims to create a collective vision for the future of artificial intelligence. It marks the first step in our year-long AI activities.

Özyeğin University organized the launch of the “Artificial Intelligence Platform” at Swissôtel The Bosphorus on June 12, 2025. The event brought together leading companies and universities in Türkiye. The platform aims to discuss the effects of artificial intelligence in many sectors such as finance, retail, manufacturing, informatics and media, and to develop new applications. Özyeğin University aims to bring together the public, private sector and academia in joint projects with this platform. The importance of cooperation and technological developments was emphasized at the launch.
