The third installment of the AI Research Series, organized under the OzU AI Platform, brought together a broad audience of academics, industry representatives, students, and artificial intelligence professionals, drawing strong participation both on campus and online.
The event “Financial Asset Price Forecasting with Graph Neural Networks Based Deep Learning,” featured a research presentation by Assoc. Prof. Emre Sefer from the Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering Department at Özyeğin University. The presentation highlighted current research in financial data analytics and predictive modeling.
The session examined how graph neural networks and deep learning methodologies are applied to financial asset price forecasting, offering a closer look at the advantages and practical applications of these models. Participants also had the opportunity to engage in in-depth discussions on modeling techniques and their applications in finance.
The OzU AI Platform will continue to support knowledge production in artificial intelligence and serve as a bridge between academia and industry through research-centered events.
